He’s looking into a short online research fellowship where he could work on an AI project tied to a medical specialty he’s interested in (like cardiology or oncology), with mentorship and a U.S. certificate at the end. I was wondering — would something like that actually stand out on his med school application, or would it be seen as just another extracurricular?
