Should I fix MacBook Air 2011 keyboard?

Hello, I'm going to buy MacBook air m4 because my MBA 2011 keyboard broke down recently. Also, my siblings have no experience with laptops. I really want them to have their own personal laptops at least. I had my own one which was the MBA 2011 in 10th grade. It was so late ikr. Fixing the keyboard will cost 40$ish. Should I fix it for my siblings to know what laptop feels like? Or I have a tablet but it is kind of small. Should I buy wireless keyboard for the tablet instead?
