I don't understand the new pause-standby service plan
Hey there,
few days ago I already asked, why Starlink just billed 33€ for the month and I found out with the help of you, that it was due to a balance I had on my account (and still don't know, where it is coming from). See also:
Now Starlink proceeds to spam me with mails for weeks already about their new pause standby / opt-in feature and I honestly don't get, what they want from me.
I have two Starlinks:
- Old Gen1 with active residential plan
- New Starlink-Mini with roaming plan, inactive at the moment
Now they asked me, to confirm that if I don't take action, my service will be cancelled on 19 of July, what I obviously don't want, especially for my residential one.
Why should I agree to pay 5€ a month for an since three years active residential service plan? What makes me scared is, that a simple calculation also says it really could be cancelled on 19 of July.
Why? 50€ pricing for the residential plan / 28 days a month = ~1,78€ per day for internet. 19 * 1,78 = 33,xx €.
So, why and what is that new pause standby feature and why should I activate it for my residential plan? Makes all zero sense to me.
