Why do my lashes look so bad with mascara?

I’ve tried multiple brands now and they just get super clumped together and still look short😭 I’ve tried benefit’s bad gal bang which used to work sooo well for me, maybelline falsies and l’oreal telescopic and NONEEE are doing it for me. are my lashes the problem? or any tricks I can do to help?

I never used to have this problem, im not sure when I started.
