I was reading ‘The Other Man’ again today to pick apart Bergin’s “affair” claims and he mentioned on page 217 that:

“In the spring of 1998, Gordon's mother passed away. He called with the sad news and asked if I'd meet him in Seattle for the service. "Carolyn is coming with me." he said. I flew up that Friday and met them at the airport. I hugged Gordon first he looked like hell; he'd been very close to his mother-then hugged Carolyn. It struck me that the last time I saw the two of them, at the airport in Los Angeles, I had hugged Carolyn first.”

Gordon’s mother is Yvonne Simmons as mentioned in a Seattle Times article from 1990 “Henderson's mother, Yvonne Simmons, is a psychologist at Seattle Central Community College.

How could Gordon’s mother have died in 1998 like Bergin stated in his book if Seattle Central Community College had Yvonne A Simmons registered as a faculty member in 2001/2002 and 2002/2004.??

So not only did Bergin lie about Gordon not being invited to the wedding, he also lied about the death of Gordon’s mother? And folks wonder why Gordon didn’t speak out about this fool, he’s a liar! No one from Carolyn’s circle came out in support of Michael’s book, no one.

Why did Michael Bergin lie about the death of Gordon Henderson’s mother in his book?
