Battery conversion

Howdy y’all. I have a lithium battery kit question. My cart is (i don’t remember year) an ezgo txt. i’ve put these kits in neighbors carts this past year with no issues, but now im faced with doing it on my cart. my issue is that i can’t find any info on if most of these conversions will work on a car with the regenerative motor. that’s the best name i can call it, but i do know the cart has the “precision drive” sticker on the side. I am worried that the power that goes from the motor, back to the battery will not work the same way with a lithium upgrade.
