I have to put my cat down in a couple of days. Looking for something easy to take my mind off things.
Cat's not doing good. She's gonna head off to the good place in a few days. She means the world to me. I'm a wreck.
So, I'm looking for something easy to read while I'm hanging out with her these last few days and coping with the loss thereafter. Something straightforward and with a nice vibe. Murakami is coming to mind, for what that's worth. So is Annihilation. I was digging the vibe of Butcher's Crossing but the subject matter probably isn't ideal right now. Tell me, if you were wanting to turn your brain off and get lost in something, what would you pull off the shelf?
