I wish I had a genuine friend

I’ve been so lonely recently. I don’t really have any real friends, nobody to turn to, nobody to share my thoughts with. It’s torture, absolute torture. Any time I try to make a friend I end up getting taken advantage of or they leave. I know I sound whiny and desperate but I just wish I had someone to connect with, someone who I can be honest with and build a genuine bond with.
