View drought, please help

It started my channel last October, I don’t post super often as I’m currently in college, but for a while I was getting more and more views. 1k - 2k - 3k- 2k (but retention and CTR improved)

Then in comes my next video, I’m pretty disappointed it gets sub 1k views, but I shrug it off, whatever.

Then the next video, I made this one to make up for the last, I worked ever harder on it. It even has by highest retention to date (70% in the first 30, and 47.8% or 11:26) but it’s just not getting promoted the same way my other videos were.

My videos used to get a massive bump, 10’s of thousands of promotions on the home page (browse) in the first few days, then slow growth in suggested from there.

But these new videos? Immediately to suggested, they never get put on the home page. Even my most recent video that I posted just a couple of days ago. 1k impressions? Sub 100 views? What happened?

Feel free to critique. I know for a fact both my videography and storytelling has gotten better, the thumbnails is argue are better as well, but it’s hard to tell because CTR is an inconsistent metric at this level. are the topics just bad? That’s entirely possible.
