Big hyped anticipated films that were bad and only gotten worse during the course of the film but became huge hits.

Dilwale (2015) takes the cake for me. Happy New Year and Dhoom 3 is up there too. I feel like most people was hoping Dilwale would get better but the film kept getting more bad and cringy during as it movie went on. Only to have one of the most boring, cringy, and wtf climax to come from Rohit Shetty film. Yes the script was bad but honestly the editing was not great either and way too much comedic characters and comedy scenes even the “villain” which was way too over the top. Dilwale made Chennai Express look like a masterpiece lol.

As for Happy New Year I didn’t see it in theaters like I did for Dilwale and Dhoom 3 I watched it on streaming but only gotten through half the film and gotten bored. It took multiple attempts to sit through the movie and I never watched it in one sitting but finally finished it over the pandemic. It just gradually got worse. The pacing was terrible. The climax was lackluster. The music was good but not enough to get me through it in one go.
