48” LG B4 vs 55” TCL QM7K
I know the comparison between the two have been asked a lot, but I feel like I have a mixed viewing “environment” and habits that makes it less clear cut.
This TV will be for my living room and while I know size isnt what is recommended, our space can’t do bigger than 55 at its max and I rent so I cant mount the tv onto the wall
We get a lot of morning sun so I would say that the living room can get fairly bright which I understand the B4 can struggle with. We also use mostly streaming services for tv and movies and will use youtube often. (Subtitles are always on if that matters for oled). I also use the tv for gaming. Mostly for the switch (now switch 2) for games like Zelda botw/totk, Pokemon S/V, mario, etc. we do have a bad tendency to pause something long enough that our firestick goes into the screensaving mode or shuts off so im also not sure of how that would affect an oled either
Im coming from a 40” 2018 1080p vizio so I know anything will be a huge upgrade but I still want to get something worthwhile for our streaming and gaming without being more expensive than these
