Has Anybody Tried Dyeing Their Danny Beer Shells?

So I have my clear Danny Beer shells that I got about 5 years ago. Anybody who has had them for a while knows that the clear plastic material gets a pretty ugly discoloured look to it.

I am just wondering if anybody here has ever dyed their shell a different colour? I am thinking that could be a way to hide that ugly discolored look it has, and if anyone has tried that and how did it turn out?
