I need help

I have a 2012 Ford Expedition, and whenever I try to connect my phone with Bluetooth. It will say my phone is connected. Once I try to play music, it will say music is playing, but no audio will come out. We’ve tried updating it, obviously the volume is up. I just don’t know what to do. Btw, it’s not our speakers. Because music will play just fine on radio channels.
