3rd generation twitch issues

Hello. Am I the only one experiencing issues with 3rd generation Chromecast when using twitch app? It's been going on for weeks. It startet with random crashes. Now I just get a black screen when tapping the chromecast logo. I've tried resetting to factory settings. Unplug/plug, power on/off. Also switched hdmi ports on my TV. Other apps works perfectly fine so I'm down to that it has to be a twitch only problem. Should I hope it gets fixed or just buy some other alternative and if so, what would you recommend?
