Understanding Self-Ish 2 electric boogaloo

I made a post earlier about the same thing but as pointed out to me by someone, It just came out looking like I'm being a dickhead.

A bit about myself. I have struggled a lot with identity issues and have poems in my journal that are very similar to most of the lyrics of the self-ish album. Growing up, I didn't have the words to really understand and label what was happening to me so I tried really hard to express it on paper through words with images, metaphores, poems etc.

I think anyone can know what they are about but I don't think anyone who hasn't gonne through it can fully understand and I don't claim to understand all of it (2012 is a good example), I'm not Will Wood only he can fully understand what he means just like he couldn't understand my specific situation fully. It's just part if being human. That being said, I think I'm well positionned to make an attempt at trying to explain it to people who are genuily trying to understand. If you have questions or just wan't to discuss the album, I would love to sharpen my own understanding by discussing it.
