How to Parttime SLPA in Grad School

Hey I'm starting grad school this Fall in Texas I'm trying to find parttime gigs.Was wondering if anyone had any helpful information or advice on working as an SLPA during Grad school? The process has been VERY confusing to me. I passed the Jurispudence exam but I still need 25 hours of clinical observation. I was told to get the last of my hours through ab SLPA job. Jobs don't want me unless I have my SLPA license but how do I apply for my SLPA license when I don't have my hours? The process has been very confusing to me. However, I would like to have my SLPA license prepared and ready to go even if I don't have a job.
