Damaged bag and then said not our fault

Flew with American this weekend. My bag is a tumi aluminum suit case. American tore one of the wheels off, bent the case in 3 places, scratched the paint off one whole side.

When I requested for them to repair it, they sent me an email that said this kind of damage is not their fault.

Terrible service.
