Help me decide whether or not I should get a single ship from the new bundle..

Okay, so the bundle is out, and they're on sale.

I'm not sure I should get them, as I think I'm leaning towards focusing on DEW builds a bit, and would therefore want a trait that can support that, such as the Karela from the 15 anni.

I fly the Shangri-La. Not the best DEW platform, but it's ok, and looks hot as hell.
In order to enjoy space barbie, as a casual player, I prefer to put my stats in the unseen, rather than the ship I fly. I want to fly whatever ship I want, ado the best I can with the traits/consoles I have. This way I enjoy both worlds, even if I'm not the strongest and might go down in a fight, I'm gonna go down looking sexy as hell.
Combine the Karela trait with the Gagarin which I already have, and I think it's a nice combo.
I use 5 dual beams in front(again, say what you will, it looks awesome and that's what's most important to me.).

Since I'm probably not going for anything in this bundle(unless you guys can convince me otherwise{please feel free, I'd love to hear}), the other option is either the Ark Royale, or the Karela-for it's trait(unless there's hands down a better DEW trait I can only get from a Z-store ship).

While we're at it, are there any great DEW traits I should know about, that don't require zen?
Thanks in advance!
