GPU crashed while gaming and won't display after turning it off and on again.
I don't know if it's a coincidence and my gpu just died randomly but I accidently tugged on my whole desk and my whole pc froze while the display was still on but I can't move anything. It just froze with 1 tick of audio buzzing. I held down the power button to turn it off and turned it on again but no display. I tried plugging the monitor into the motherboard port and it worked fine. It's obviously a gpu problem but I don't wanna accept it just yet. Did it maybe have to do with the fact that I tugged on the setup heavily? Just for the small chance I can keep using my pc? I'm not really in the financial position to replace anything and I spent months saving for this gpu (rx580).
Specs:
I've had this pc for 5 years except for the gpu which i got as an upgrade to the igpu last year
- Ryzen 3 3200g
- msi a320m-pro
- 16gb raam
- Corsair cx550
I don't really play too many intensive games until one I've found recently. Nightreign. The experience might not be the smoothest but even with 30fps that game is a blast and ironically enough, it was the game I was playing when it crashed. I really wanna be able to play this game again.
