On Tuesday, at 10:26 PM UUT (Universal Union Time), a large anti-rebel operation took place in Everpines Mall in City 35. A combine force of around 18 Overwatch units were deployed to raid several stores that had been suspected of harboring Rebel cells, including Mantis Groceries, Barry's Barrel (a liqor store), and the Fine Print newspaper store branch within the mall. Luckily, civilian news drones were permitted to observer the operation. A large battle then ensued, with the mall's infrastructure damaged and heavy Rebel casulties. Both Combine and Non-Combine Rebel Analysts predict that this attack will have set the local Rebel organization around 2 years. Although there were more reinforcements throughout the duration of the operation, 15 combine operatives died, and all Rebel combatants were killed. The number of non-combatants killed has yet to be released.

The affected wing of the mall should re-open in 4 weeks.
