It’s what newbies think a “good” cigar is.

Just enough quality to be considered a step up from your bottom tier stuff, but not enough craftsmanship or complexity that any serious enthusiast would seek it out.

Fine to enjoy if it’s free, but never worth paying full price for. Unoffensive, but also uninspiring.
