2 years in, and my bf (32M) can't get it up anymore. I (24F) feel invisible
My boyfriend (32M) and I (24F) have been together for 2 years. He's my best friend, the love of my life, and honestly the most affectionate man I've ever known. But our sex life has completely fallen apart, and I don't know what to do anymore.
For the past few months, he hasn't been able to get or stay hard. At first, I tried not to take it personally, but now it's been almost 2 months of no intimacy at all. Every time I try to initiate or bring it up, he either shuts down or says he doesn't know why it's happening or that it's just not on his mind lately. He mentioned getting his hormones tested or trying medication, but he hasn't followed through.
Meanwhile, I'm falling apart inside. My self-esteem is shot. I feel unwanted, undesirable, and so alone. I cry myself to sleep more often than not, and now he's started to avoid being around me altogether. Maybe it's out of guilt or shame, i don't know. I'm depressed, confused, and stuck between loving him deeply and feeling completely rejected.
I'm not ready to give up on us, but I can't live like this forever. If anyone's been through something similar, how did you cope? What helped you through this or move on?
