Family safe housing?
We’re currently renting at the Fountain Parc apartments (big mistake!) and we are probably going to have to move. Income is $65,000 and we have two children and a dog and less than stellar credit.
We’re living in mold, the AC isn’t functioning, there is water coming up through the floors, the washing machine is covered in mold/mildew, the dryer smells like something is burning, the bathtub doesn’t drain, the dishwasher leaks, I could go on and on and on. We need somewhere SAFE for our children and buying a house isn’t in the cards right now with only one income.
I don’t know what to do! The management here says they’re working on it (they just took over a week ago and have hundreds of complaints to sift through and rent payments to go through because the online portal was down during the buyout transition). I have tried contacting Marion County Public Health Department and get crickets…meanwhile my kids are getting sicker and we are just stuck!?! SMDH.
We love being on the north east side because our church and doctors are in fishers and Noblesville and my husband works in Castleton but this place isn’t it…
