Beginner trader, first time experiencing a trading halt

Advice

Some background - I was sitting with $150 sitting in my acc for 3 weeks. Was waiting until I felt confident on a particular market open strategy, then tested it through paper trading for a couple weeks. Just started using my real $150 yesterday. 2 trades yesterday with MBIO, portfolio grew 1.4% - awesome!

Today I was mainly following PROK, unfortunately I entered a position moments before the halt happened. I have never heard of this throughout the past few months I have spent learning (part-time while working a 9-5) about the market, and I dont know how I didn't come across it...

In that moment though, I was incredibly confused and some thats I had were: Why did people suddenly stop buying this stock? What happened to the crazy momentum this stock was getting? Why has it literally flatlined? What the fuck is going on? These were a few thoughts racing through my head as I panicked, and ended up losing the trade. Luckily still at a net profit though. I realize now I was so deeply involved in candlestick patterns, indicators, price action, learning how to identify stocks to trade, different strategies, etc, that I did not learn about market regulation as much!

Well shit. Back to taking notes. Do you guys have anything to offer on how to react when you've got a position during a halt? Should I modified my trade in this case or let it play out - and what are the factors that would make you decide between these 2 options? Would appreciate any resources as well!
