I (35M) am getting tired of gf (33F) never asking me anything. Anyone else dealt with this?

We've been seeing each other about 4 months exclusively. We get along well overall but I'm noticing more every day that she just never asks anything about how I'm doing, how work is going, my interests, my family, etc. If I do bring up something related to my job or something I get a quick "nice!" And then she pivots straight back to herself. I don't get why anyone would want to be in a relationship with someone if they're not at all interested in the details of that person's life, what makes them tick, etc.

I know the obvious answer is "bring it up" but this feels like such a basic thing, I shouldn't have to ask someone to reciprocate checking in on me.
