Freelance Struggles :Finally Landed a Client After 1.5 Years… Now What?
Hey everyone,
I've been using Framer and refining my web design skills for the past 1.5 years. After a lot of learning, experimenting, and portfolio building, I finally landed a client recently ,and the project went really well. I designed and built Froggy Tuition( https://froggytuition.com.au/ ), and the client was genuinely happy with the result.
But here’s the thing… I’m back to square one.
I’m not getting new leads or clients, despite having a real-world project in my portfolio now. I feel confident in my work and delivery, but I’m struggling with visibility and getting people to trust me with new projects.
Curious to know:
Are you consistently getting clients through freelance platforms or elsewhere?
What’s been your most effective way to land web design clients?
Any advice on positioning myself better after completing my first real project?
Appreciate any tips or shared experiences 🙏
