Leaning tower of cactus

tall spiky OG cactus leans at an angle while its pups mostly look the other way in embarassment.

Thanks in advance to cactophiles everywhere. I'd like to cut off this leaner and transplant it into a large pot so passersby will stop laughing at it. Also, I don't want it growing too close to the path. Also, I would like to give its pups a bit more space to do their thing. Everything I know about succulents and cactus I learned from YouTube videos so I don't really know if this is possible or where to make the cut but I just bought landscaping gloves and I have dirt and a planter and if there's advice I'd be grateful to hear it.
