My Plastic Surgery Journey (CURRENT)

NSFWBefore & After Showcase

Hi everyone!

Decided to do a post op diary of my plastic surgery. Its currently day one so I just woke up lol. But I figured this might give a glimpse for anyone looking to surgery in Korea and what its really like🤍

Background: I’m 22 female who got rhinoplasty, fat grafting, and facial contouring. How I chose my clinic was through UNNI. Unlike everyone else, I decided to go to a local hospital. At first, I wanted to go to a larger clinic but I was extremely skeptical that the doctor assigned to me had no facial contouring results. They had really good translators and the doctor did addressed all my concerns regarding rhinoplasty despite my decision. While I was digging on through their UNNI page, I found a doctor that did facial contouring but he moved to a different clinic (current clinic). After talking to the GM, I decided to choose them due to the price range and the results I saw. There was a minor error on their end but they immediately fixed :)

Consultation Day: Consultation took a bit longer but everyone was extremely patient. The doctor was hands on and didn’t recommend anything crazy. I specified that I wanted to be as natural as possible meaning just an enhancement and he agreed. So for my checkbone, he only reduced it a little bit. For my jaw, it was tricky since it was actually uneven. The jaw bone near the ear was really square but my right side had more than my left. Moving downwards, the left became bigger than my right 😂 So he shaved a little more on the right side to accommodate my asymmetric jawline (12mm was shaved). As for my chin, I did an silicone (4mm).

Surgery Day: My surgery was a couple hours ago but I feel okay. This is definitely not for the weak! I would say the most uncomfortable part would be the IV and tube removal after. I did feel extremely nauseous afterwards since I tend to get like that pretty easily in this extreme weather. The nurses did give me more pain meds to help me since I started to feel the soreness. Overall, I would say it was an okay experience. I was pretty roughed up a bit during and afterwards but nothing extremely concerning. Whats really hard is my ability to breathe and sore throat. But the receptionist was extremely kind and was super attentive even though there was a language barrier. She spoke pretty good English though in my opinion. Both her and my boyfriend helped me and it was nice that they let him walk around with me to help me get on my feet. It was also funny that they showed us my bone afterwards 😂

My honest opinion: please stay at the hospital!! My hotel was nearby so I decided to go back. But general anesthesia is pretty rough afterwards. So if you’re traveling by yourself, please stay at the hospital. For the girls who were able to walk home, you are strong 💕

I will post pictures soon of my progress once I feel a little better. So stay tuned! Please feel free to ask any questions:)
