Me, my boyfriend and and two friends got chased in the dark

This happened at the beginning of March this year. Me (18), my boyfriend who we'll call G (19), and my two mates who we'll call J (17) and A (17) go on regular late night walks to the skate park 15 minutes away from my house and there has never been any problem. Well on this day we went round to the skate park and me and J were sat on the swings talking and G and A were stood next to me talking. There are two entrances to the stake park one near us and then one on the other side. J had noticed a man walking to the far away entrance of the skatepark and had pointed it out. We watched as right next to the entrance there is another entrance to a field so we assumed he was going there. However he walked into the skate park. He was wearing a white hoodie with the hood up, and black gilet holding a plastic bag which appeared to have multiple sharp objects in. He also had his other hand in his pocket. We collectively decided to leave so we all run for the exit and make a left to go home. As we cross the road A and J who are a bit behind scream that he has started running so we all pick up the pace then made a right which led to a long street with warehouses all up it. We continue down that road and we stop at the top to turn around and see if he is still following us. That's when I saw him quite far behind us and I can tell that he is running as I see the white of his hoodie bobing up and down. At this point I have called my dad to come get us and he arrives in 2 minutes and takes us all home. After it all had happened we were all talking and A and J had said that when he came out of the exit he looked right then left to make sure nobody was around, made eye contact with them and started sprinting towards us. One thing that will forever creep me out is the fact that we are all sure we had seen him before at the bus stop on the opposite side of the skate park just staring at us and the time he arrived at the skate park is right before we all would normally arrive. If we hadn't decided to go earlier we most likely wouldn't have seen him as the section of the skate park where he was isn't lit up. So to the creepy guy that followed us in the dark, let's not meet again.
