Why do I not have the Elden ring DLC

I have bought the physical version of elden ring shadow of the erdtree edition for Xbox that comes with two disks disc 1 (game disc) disc 2 (data disc). No problem with them they have installed properly and the game is up and running. However, they for some unknown reason put the code for the dlc not as an Xbox redeem code which would’ve been the easiest thing too do no they had too make it excruciatingly painful and make it so you have to go on their website and input the code. I’m already annoyed but it’s fine I go on my phone make an account on Bandai namco and redeem the code. It gives me a thousand points and says the dlc digital download, however, I am on xbox so I don’t know why they decided too put the download on their website for the dlc, plus I can’t even download since I’m on phone. Then, I try too link my Bandai namco account and Xbox live account. And it works they are linked. For some reason, it’s not showing up that I have the dlc. I have scoured and searched all over the internet and I have no idea how I’m supposed to get the dlc on my Xbox. Please can I have some help with this as I’ve been trying for months
