Went from 0 to 492K views in 2 weeks… what now?

A couple of weeks ago, I launched my YouTube channel with a lot of doubts and very little expectation. Today — to my surprise — things are finally starting to take off, and I wanted to share my numbers and get some advice on what to do next.

• Watch time: 2.6K hours
• Subscribers: +248

One of my Shorts videos really took off, and honestly, I didn’t see it coming. My project is about Mexican's celebrities gossip and Mexican TV shows, and while I’m excited, I’m also feeling a bit overwhelmed.

So I’d love your input:

Should I keep doing the same kind of content, or is now a good time to experiment?

Is it too early to think about monetization or sponsorships?

What are some common mistakes to avoid during this early growth phase?

I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences — especially from creators who’ve been through that first sudden growth moment.
