Wondering something about voluntary repossession

If I have a vehicle, that I theoretically got voluntarily repossessed, and I bought another vehicle on a finance before repossessing my old one, could the bank for the old one take my new one. Also, how long does it take to recover from a voluntary repossession? How many points can your credit drop due to a repossession?
