Need Help: DMA Violation causes constant BSOD Crashes
I bought a new HP 15 in November and for the last month or so, I’ve experienced BSOD crashes almost every 2-30 minutes. It’s made remote working almost impossible.
I followed all the guides I could find online and have made no progress. None of the drivers seem faulty, disabling virtualization did nothing, I just can’t seem to fix this thing.
Last available dump file read like this (this is all I managed to copy and paste before it crashed again):
DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION (e6) An illegal DMA operation was attempted by a driver being verified. Arguments: Arg1: 0000000000000027, IOMMU detected DMA violation and DMA adapter/IOMMU domain is found. Arg2: ffffd407a83a0060, Device Object of faulting device. Arg3: 0000000000070b56, Faulting information (usually faulting physical address). Arg4: 0000000000000006, Fault type (hardware specific).
