Best clothes for me to wear when dog has long nails

I love dogs.

But my nanny family's dogs have long nails AND they jump. So their nails go right through my cheap cotton Ts that I purposely use as disposable clothing.

But it's so hot and they keep their home at a conservative temperature so I'm in need of tank tops.

I can't find any cheap cotton tanks.

Would it be worth it to go with heavy linen? Would the nails go through?
