Has anyone else checked out teh "Resource Guide: Hidden Gems for Road Trips in the Pacific Northwest"? I stumbled across it while planning a trip through Oregon and Washington and found some seriously cool spots I'd never heard of. Forget the usual tourist traps, this thing pointed me to a secluded hot spring tucked away in the mountains and a quirky roadside museum dedicated to antique farming equipment.

What I appreciate most is that it doesn't just list places, it includes little anecdotes and historical tidbits that really bring each location to life. It made the drive itself much more engaging, knowing the history behind the small towns we where passing through.
