Paid Vacation Outside Canada

Hello Everyone, there have been many different answers on this question. I hope I can get some clarifications on it and also if someone has experienced this before.

Since I work in a bank we get 5 weeks paid off every year ( 3 mandatory plus 2optional both paid). Taking a vacation outside if you are employed continuously with the same employer does it affect your work experience meaning will it actually not count as the work experience listed. I took 5 weeks paid off each year outside Canada will those vacations not count and if yes then why. Ircc states a reasonable amount of vacation (Eg 2 weeks) are counted but it doesn't say it's maximum of 2 weeks and also doesn't say anything about if you take it outside Canada. I hope someone can help
