Skill Discussion

Discussion

Straight to it. Looking at the new gameplay for BF6 for the most part the game looks good.

Only thing I have issue with while watching and what gets swept under the rug in every discussion is the recoil. Visual, spread, or whatever you want to call it. It just needs something.

The new conversation is movement being the skill gap. What about shooting for a military based shooting game? Aiming and holding down the trigger, especially during long range engagement feels too easy. It feel likes gaurd rails at a bowling alley. Fun yes, but easy is boring when trying to be competitive in any competition.

Doesn't have to be a milsim to have a little realism in it.

IMO recoil is an important skill gap and makes gun fight unpredictable, challenging therefore fun. Gamers would pick engagements based on their skill level and depends on their teamates strength to get the win. And I think that would kill the locked class system discussion.

Make me understand why having virtually 0 recoil makes a military based shooter entertaining in your eyes.

No shots fired , just truly want to understand the other side.

Thoughts?
