ID help Please. South Arizona
We are finding many of these in our pool, some drowned but most alive and trying to grab ahold of whatever they can or the edge. Looks like 3 sizes of the same bee? The biggest are smaller than a house fly. Best guesses have been sweat bees, sand bees or fairy bees. Their sting is a doozy. Have only seen one "dry" flying a few feet away from the pool. We can't find a nest anywhere in our yard. We had a few last year but this year is crazy. Hundreds in a week. Any id help and suggestions greatly appreciated.
