Truck died on me in the road. Can someone help me feel better that I had to call a tow to tow it back home?

I don’t know but people around me have a stigma to avoid having to call tow trucks because their too expensive

I don’t know what I’m looking for in writing this post but I just need feel better because the money could of been used on groceries

This one tow company charged $75 to bring it back home

The truck wouldn’t start with a jump. When it did get a jump it would immediately die.

I do believe the battery is on its last legs but also something else is going on

I think it’s something with the fuel system. Like the fuel pump or capacitor

When they have time, mechanics are going to check it
