Help! I don't understand this pattern!

Hi, I'm trying to make a ferret head plush, but have a struggle finding a good pattern. heres some pics of my desire shape, with a source I picked.

The source i choice looks a bit confusing on the 2nd to last step, someone please send a video (link) or more explication
