Switching from hospital to biotech

I’m interviewing for a job at Ipsen and have never worked in biotech/pharma. My whole career has been as a clinical worker at major academic medical centers. This role would likely have some sales/ account management but focus on education on a certain drug line.

Anyone else ex RN/NP and move into pharma? Is it a smart move? Can anyone currently working at Ipsen comment on the work environment? I know it depends on managers etc but the hardest piece for me is not knowing what the culture is like and giving up my current gig.
