AITA for calling my ex-best friends bad moms after they used my trauma and grief to justify shutting me out? FINAL UPDATE ❤️

FINAL UPDATE: I again made this a comment when it should be a new post. A few people asked if she responded — she hasn’t yet. I don’t think she has read receipts on, and she works third shift at a warehouse, so maybe I’ll hear something around noon… if she chooses to reply at all. But honestly, I’m not holding my breath. It feels like she’s already made up her mind that I’m a bad person, without ever asking me what really happened.
I ended up sending her everything — my side, the context, the stuff people left out — and at this point, she can take it however she wants. I’m no longer interested in trying to be close with someone who’s willing to believe the worst about me without even checking in. If you can run with other people’s words without ever hearing mine? That’s not a friendship I want back.
Thank you guys for all the support — I do plan to take your guys advice and just drop the situation and move on. ❤️
EDIT: I’ve said my last peace and ended things for good—I’ve blocked [G] and her boyfriend. This was my last message to [G]
“I’ve thought a lot about everything, and I do believe you deserve the full truth — hence why I sent all the ss. But the more I sit with it, the more I realize that I don’t feel comfortable continuing a friendship with someone who didn’t even try to hear my side before making up their mind.
It really hurt that instead of asking me what happened, you just came to me with what others said and ran with it. I’ve been going through so much, and your approach made me feel like my voice didn’t matter.
So, respectfully, I’d like to stop communication. I’m not going to chase down people who can’t be bothered to listen. I hope you take care, but this chapter is closed for me.”
At this point, I just want to mentally move past it, and the best way I know how is by diving into what I love: crafting and cleaning. It helps keep me grounded and sane while I heal. 🧹🧵✨ Again thank you to everyone for the kind words and the advice — especially those who were strong enough to publicly relate, I admire you so much. WE PUSH THROUGH AND GROW TOGETHER. BUILDING EACH OTHER UP NOT TEARING PEOPLE DOWN! ❤️
