Having trouble picking anything but the most basic padlocks with the southord pxs-14 set; is it worth augmenting with anything else or is that unlikely to "unlock" any skills?

It takes anywhere from a few seconds to a few hours single pin picking a dollar store padlock, but I've had poor success on file cabinet locks and have not gotten anywhere on a discarded schlage deadbolt.

In particular, I've had zero luck opening anything with the included rakes, and was looking for an excuse to get the gravity pick fidget toy which comes with what looks like a different type of rake from southord set, but promised myself not to buy such a toy if there wasn't a reasonable chance that lack of a specific rake is the problem.
