Dealership not wanting to fix the car I bought less than an month ago? I bought their platinum insurance too.

Canadian Sale

Hi, I’m from Canada and I just recently financed a used 2021 KIA Forte EX with 90,000 kms less than a month ago. It had to stay on their lot for a while because finding insurance had taken forever, so I’ve been driving it for about 11 days now. I noticed quite quickly that the acceleration often stuttered, and occasionally it stuttered while braking too. Rarely (about twice since I started driving), the acceleration quit almost completely and I would move very slowly (luckily I was near my house both times). The last time this happened was yesterday, and since then I haven’t driven it.

I emailed the sales person I was in contact with, and the finance person who helped. They told me I have to wait 30 days until my platinum insurance is available before they can diagnose my car, which I, and every family member and friend I’ve talked to, said is very weird. They even inspected it twice before I bought it because they had to recharge the AC. Will I really have to wait until 30 days have passed? It will be 30 days on the 14th. I really need my car to get to work, though. Is there anything I can do?
