How does the counselling process work?

Tomorrow is Iteration-1 and I want to know how the couselling process works. Is it similar to Josaa, as in you get three choices, Float, Slide and Freeze? Also do you have to pay to continue onto the next rounds? If yes, how much? And how much difference in cutoffs from Iteration-I to Iteration-III? Thanks again
