TIME-can we rethink it? or must we?
The standard view of time as a continuous coordinate or geometric axis has been useful-but perhaps it doesn’t reach the root of the phenomenon.
I propose a more fundamental perspective:
Time is a function of incoming information that triggers a state change.
no signal-no reaction no reaction-no time
This interpretation bridges physics, neuroscience, and information theory: Time doesn’t flow-it emerges. It’s not a backdrop, but a measure of update.
Details and reasoning in the comments. I welcome thoughtful discussion.
