Buyback questions

So sorry for the trouble. I get different answers when I call, or maybe I’m not asking the right way. How long does it take to see progress after your employer certifies your employment? How many months away qualify you for buyback? I’ve read the information on the website, but I guess I’m just anxious and not understanding it well.
