Update (and more details) on the Bus Driver assaulting a minor in Limassol
First post (& video) about this by u/AlittlePotato1560, here's the link.
TL;DR of the article linked above, it basically explains what happened before, during and after the incident. A team of 5-6 "minors of russian-origin, known as troublemakers by EMEL and the police" boarded a bus, caused trouble and consequently got kicked out. They proceeded to board another bus, which the bus driver in question was driving, and then the incident took place.
EMEL has begun an investigation. Right after the incident, the Germasoygeia Police Station & members of the CCU responded and later on asked the driver to file a statement at the station, which he did. The mother of the minor also filed an official complaint at the station, and asked for the driver to be reprimanded. The interesting thing in this case though, is that hours after the incident, EMEL received a "threatening/alarming" email, which I attached below.
It is worth noting that the driver apologised, and said he used force in the "heat/confusion of the moment". EMEL also filed a report for the threatening email.
