could RAM be cause reboot issue?
I’m using a laptop with a Ryzen 9 7945HX. After recently upgrading the RAM to 32GB of KLEVV DDR5 5600MHz, I’ve noticed something strange
• OCCT stress test runs fine for 1 hour with no issues.
• Time Spy benchmark also completes without any problems.
• But Cinebench (both R23 and R24) causes the system to reboot within 2–3 minutes.
This only started happening after I swapped the RAM. Before that, Cinebench ran just fine.
There’s no thermal throttling, and CPU temps seem within normal range – nothing that should trigger a thermal shutdown.
Could this be due to unstable RAM, even though other stress tests like OCCT are stable? Or is Cinebench doing something that makes it more sensitive to RAM issues?
Also, is there any chance this could be caused by a faulty motherboard or CPU instead of the RAM?
