What parts should I get on Prime Day?

I want to build a PC in the next ~3 months and I am looking at the $1000-1200 High Refresh Rate build. Are there any parts I should get now during prime day? I see that a lot of Ryzen CPU's are on sale. Or is prime day a big scam and I'm better off waiting?
